Let's put on a show!
The Union Divine Theater is the place to be this evening, with lines at the box office wrapping around the block. People from any and all walks of life, there to see a show. The theater house lobby is also packed, with people mingling as they wait for the doors to open. A single soul stands vigilant at the doors, ready to take everyone's tickets. It would seem that the return of two of the troupe's most popular actresses helped fuel ticket sales, along with the premiere of otherwise unknown chorus girl Sakura Shinguji.
The combination of Haruka Tenoh's off-script performances and the mounting anticipation on whether or not the new girl can keep up might have also had something to do with heightened ticket sales.

Whenever~ Open!
stillnot allowed to go wandering off on her own. Something about nobody being sure that she wasn't going to try and destroy the city like her father's other experiments, or something. So she was backstage, from start to finish of the play, sitting in a chair in a shadowy corner. She had a copy of the play's script and seemed to be reading it over, despite not being involved in any actual way. But it was interesting, and it gave her something to do.
Judging by how untouched the manuscript seemed, odds were that it was Haruka's.
Every so often she'd glance up, observing everybody as they went about their duties with a sense of urgency. And during the play itself, she'd have an excellent backstage view.
also sorry for tagging the wrong part with this whoops]no subject
...Makes sense.]
That's only useful if you want to see how far we've deviated from the script.

Honestly... ]
This is the same play? [ She holds the script up to the part where they should be at. ] I figured you just switched plays at the last minute.

[hmm] It wouldn't have been too difficult to nudge it in the right direction a couple scenes ago, but now...
[maybe she really should've made Haruka go to rehearsal. But at least Michiru is entertained, even if nobody else seems particularly happy about it.]

Michiru's a performer and she understands the collaborative effort that goes into these things. Even a soloist has to work with the orchestra, after all.
...It's just that the chances of ditching rehearsal exponentially increases as soon as she gets her own lines down pat.]

It doesn't even look like the same play. Where's the part about defying their families? And the childhood promise?
How could you fix all that?
no subject
I would have mentioned all of that here, at the very least. [it's after when they should've introduced it, but still within an acceptable limit for the story as a whole.] Just because Haruka doesn't expect anybody to interrupt her doesn't mean she won't [be forced to] play along with it.
[it's kind of too late though, now. Besides, her character wouldn't know anything about that.]

Maybe you should coach Ms. Shinguji in how to deal with these sorts of things.

[that gets a small smile] It might be a bit late now, but she knows now, for next time.
[please, Hotaru. Watching other people try and deal with her partner is what made this particular production so entertaining.]
