There is no fear that they will remain here - you have, of course, seen the public reaction to this revelation. And though they may make use of it, that does not preclude others from doing the same. Indeed, Union may be the only remaining human colony in the world that does not continue to use such technology.

That said, they are our only lead to what may have happened in Mist.

No doubt. Those balls are precisely of the sort the force that attacked Mist utilized. I do not trust their intentions. That said, if this city should ally with them simply because they are another band of survivors...

[Tiki closes her eyes, and it may almost seem as if she's somehow managed to doze off in the middle of this incredibly important conversation. But -- ]

Should we depart in fear and rightful indignation? Should we continue to wander in search of something that may not be found? It had ever been my intent to gather resources and information in this place. Is there aught that would deter us from doing so even if they choose a wrong path?

Let us be a voice for now... an example. If need be, I shall approach this human Council and tell them why it is that such a thing cannot come to be.

As always, you have a cooler head than I could ever boast, Elder Tiki. Very well. Let us hope that our voices are enough. That said, I feel we should still keep our identities as residents of Mist secret. Although, unfortunately, I am uncertain if the younger ones will be so complicit.

Yes. I would agree. But if such comes to pass, I should not be opposed to the dissemination of the truth. In the time we have spent here, I have sensed nothing but goodwill from these people...

But perhaps I am blinded by my own desires.

And I by my fears. Perhaps the only course of action for now is to wait and see what transpires. Still, I have a bad feeling about this group.

I do not trust them at all. Their talk of evolution reeks of arrogance. And what is more... Master Yukari, that image the boy showed of the ball. Those devices were used in the attack on Mist, I am certain of it.

And can you confirm that these are the attackers?

...I cannot. All I have are my suspicions and the weapons they wield. It would be unwise to question them about it too, for fear they should realize that Mist left survivors if they are the perpetrators.

Then there are the matter of these machines they discuss. I am uncertain of the situation, but I am now wondering what precisely went on prior to our arrival.

I've made some inquiries, it seems there were a number of wild Pokemon that evolved and caused seismic activity before our arrival. The machines are certainly dangerous, if nothing else.

Machines that augment evolution regardless of whether the Pokemon desires it or not... How utterly shameless. We are in agreement then that there is something sinister that lies at their core?

Never assume sinister intent what can easily be excused as gross stupidity and disregard. Humans are good at that.

All right. But then, what shall we do if it does turn out they are responsible for the attack?
