Exploration
[Action: Closed to Ezreal, Quinn & Yang]
[Mid afternoon, the day and time agreed upon. Lux waited impatiently near the entrance to the Old City, gear in hand. She periodically checked her warp band for the time, despite Camille's constant humming that they would be fine; after all, she even agreed to shed her fancy-lady articles for something a bit more... common.
The objectives were simple: Investigate the mausoleum area and see what they could find, all while preserving what they could. She had a fresh notebook for drawings and notes, and other things she might need for the trip down. She just needed her traveling party.]

Hey. I hope you didn't mind that we arrived early.

Heeeeyyyyy, everybody!
[An Eevee is walking behind her, with a lot more purpose than Yang's merry, cocky stroll.]

[Ezreal shows up with Jungler and Spark at his side and a large pack on his back.]

[Moving through the Old City was uneventful enough, and Lux did her best to not stop them at every interesting thing she happened to notice; they'd be there for weeks if that were the case. The map-carrier through the first leg of the journey, she led them through, stopping at the entryway to the mausoleum.]
We should probably have someone with better typing lead the way. Ezreal and I are both Psychic types, although I can take a few hits from some ghosts in a pinch.
no subject
[If there is also high levels of Psychic energy in some areas, then she will be in trouble.]
no subject
[The Eevee nods, all serious like.]
[She looks back at Quinn, then adds:] I'm Yang, by the way. [She reaches her hands out and cracks her knuckles.] I can't wait! I really wanna check this place out!

As they look around, there's a small altar in the far end of this room. Branching off, both left and right, are two separate hallways. Once again, they're pitch black. Picking a direction would be based off of a guess or whim if they decide to go that route.
However, if they close their eyes or even stop to focus, they'll feel a chill in the air. The longer it lingers, the stranger they'll feel. Perhaps they'll even sense some foreign emotions... sorrow, hopelessness, defeat, anger... That is, of course, if they concentrate. Still, being in one place for too long will certainly evoke some unrest amongst the explorers.]

Besides, the chill is probably because we're underground, not anything Pokemon related. Besides, actual ghosts don't exist.
[The blond looked down both tunnels.]
I could throw a light down one, or we can choose one and go with that.
no subject
We should be fine. If there is also Psychic energy in this area, I won't work well against that. [She doubts Fairy energy is in here along with ice and thunder. She ponders on Lux's comment about the tunnels.]
Having some extra light would be a good idea.

[Yang pauses and frowns, bringing both hands up in front of her. There's a chilly feeling -- and it makes her a little agitated. Her Eevee, next to her, shuffles. When she hears Lux, she turns her head in the direction of her face.]
Light 'er up! That's a good idea.
no subject
[Ezreal takes out two flares, lights them, and tosses them out, one down each tunnel.]
no subject
From what they can make out, each hall extends for a bit before branching off to the direction opposite from the one they came.]

There is no comment to say right now, but she follows right behind Lux to investigate.]

[Yang saunters after Lux, putting a finger to her chin, leaning over Lux's shoulder to peer at them.]
This is off the hook! And kinda spooky. Lighting up, just like that.

[Guess who is already scribbling something down in her own journal? This lady. Except it's more of just quick notes to remember for future explorations down here instead of actual drawing.]
We better decide quick instead of just standing around.
[Sorta just... points her pencil towards the right hallway. She didn't think hard on it, just taking any hallway is better than none.]
Let's try that way.
no subject
As Lux is doing just that, she's likely to feel a waft of something wash over her. It's not air, but more... a feeling of peace and gratitude. Behind her, Quinn may receive the remnants of that in a sort of thanks for staying to look.
Now the team is gathered towards one side of the hall, the windows at the other side slowly dim until they're as dark as when the room was entered. Funny enough, the flare that was tossed down that hall seems to have dimmed alongside them. Whether it's the one Quinn pointed to or not is irrelevant. They're closer to one, so that's where they seem to be guided.]
no subject
Disabling the video, she nods.]
Sure. Let's go, then.

[No, no, Yang is not scared. Totally not scared. She is cool, collected, and in charge of this situation. She strides after Quinn, eyes turning briefly in Lux's direction, before she looks forward. Nevermind the Staryu-inspired design or the complexity.]
[Or the reminder of the civilization that fell. Or any of the rest. She wriggles her fingers, then she finally cracks her knuckles reflexively.]
