[Ami is in her medic attire as she has a clipboard in hand.]
Good morning, Union. I would like to remind everyone that with spring in full swing and summer just around the corner, to not only make sure to test yourself and pokemon for allergies, but to ensure proper hydration so as to not suffer from heat exhaustion or worse still, heat stroke.
These are very serious matters!
Signs of dehydration are:
Dry or sticky mouth
Exhaustion
Dry skin
Headache
Dizziness
Now please note, these are just the first signs of dehydration. Severe dehydration can cause much worse symptoms and be far more dangerous. Please be careful as the weather gets hotter!
This is true for your pokemon as well, even your fire-types and ground-types pokemon. Always have a glass of water just before bed and a glass of water when you first wake up and with every meal.
If you have any further questions or would like to schedule an allergy test, please let me know or ask away. I am quite content to answer them as best I can.

[from the splashing going on behind her, Michiru is already at the pool.]

And Michiru turns at the sound of plaintive squeaking. She picks up a nearby towel, disappears from screen, and then reappears with a pathetic, wet little Shinx. The kitten shivers, looking like the entire world had just betrayed her fragile trust.] Are Electric types supposed to be afraid of water?
[Michiru's focus is on the kitty as she towels her off. Looks like kitty got splashed at the pool's edge.]

Oh dear! [She pressed a hand to her chin. Poor Kitty. That's her grandbaby!] Ah well... no, it depends on the electric type. There are electric types that are also water type pokemon. However, Kitty's reluctance may be more because of her being a feline and less to do with her typing.

It certainly doesn't stop her from creeping to the water's edge anyway. [the kitten squeaks in protest, though it's probably because Michiru has moved on to wiping her head dry and now she can't see.] That's where all the fun is.

I caution that it may be something to look out for when Kitty gets older and evolves if she has any inclination for the water like her mama.
[She laughs s she watches Kitty squeak.] But her general curiosity and desire to be involved in something important to you is not uncommon.

[and here's the kitten, freshly dried, though still a bit damp. In a show of gratitude, the kitten shakes herself off and starts licking at a paw.]
Speaking of Dolce's mother - [the Shinx looks up at her name, but then continues clumsily grooming herself] - I was wondering if you'd like them to spend more time together.
[kind of like a play date, but with more babysitting involved]

Maybe we should plan for a play date soon?

Michiru suppresses a giggle and simply offers consoling ear scritches when the kitten flips back over and tries to make it look like she did it on purpose.]

I have a few of those myself. Still, I wouldn't want to take away the chance for them to get to know each other. [not with the way Aurora seemed to take to the kitten.]

At the moment, she's honing her pouncing techniques. [that is, the kitten is still playing around and Michiru hasn't started properly Training her yet. She's more inclined to let babies play.
A smile for the kitty.] Isn't that right?
[the Pokemon mews right back and then butts her head against Michiru's stalled fingers, demanding more pets.
Back to Ami.]
Where would be convenient for you? [your place, her place, the Habitat, a park]

The theater should serve, then. The nursery has plenty of room. [and toys and blankets and beds. And apparently, napworthy sunbeams.]

We call it the nursery, but it's really just a room where the babies and some of the other Pokemon stay. [it's decorated with leaves and flower petals, to no one's surprise.]
