So I was thinking, since Winter is finally ending a lot of good fruits and vegetables are in season. With all of the new regions we've explored, I'll bet there's all kinds of interesting food from other regions, I know Citadel has a lot of meat and I've been hearing the Refuge hops and mushrooms are really something else. Why don't we have a cook-off? It'd be a good chance to share cuisine from all over and get some ideas for new recipes.

You've known about Caldera for a while, but Union doesn't have much food anything like it.

Refuge...?

Perhaps you haven't heard. Refuge is a city that was recently discovered to the southwest. They live in caverns underneath a large forest and have done so for centuries. I haven't had a chance to visit yet, but I hear there are some beautiful crystal formations within the city.

...No, I haven't.

[Kuvira has vague memories from her early childhood, of great caves and crystals and candle-like Pokemon. It's surprising to hear about anything like that.]

It must have been found recently.

Yeah, I think we made contact a few months ago. I guess they were like Union before we found them - they thought they were the only humans left.

Do they allow visitors now?

I think so?

I'll have to consider it some day. Not yet. [She needs to get stronger.]

It would just be a difficult journey at this point. I'm not much of a traveler yet.

I can see how that would make things difficult. I have heard there are some regular caravans moving back and forth exchanging supplies, it might be worth looking into.

I'll have to look into it. For now I'm too new here to make big plans.

Well I'm sure it'll be no problem whenever you're ready.
