bravenewworld | Deuxième Parade [Action]

[If anyone is out and about by the Habitat, you'll see a Snorunt running around with a Dawn Stone in her hands, being closely followed by a Growlithe that looks rather annoyed and a Bulbasaur that thinks this is all a game. Suddenly, the Snorunt—known by a few as Mitsuru Kirijo's Skadi—holds the Dawn Stone up and evolves into a Froslass.

The other two Pokémon pause to stare, a little confused as to what just happened, but when the Growlithe gets closer, Skadi sniffs and floats away, leading her friends towards the city gates. What is she really up to?

Meanwhile, Mitsuru is leaving the Habitat, some ideas running through her mind as she looks around for her errant Pokémon.]

Skadi? Koromaru? Gabriel? Where are you three?

[When a cursory look doesn't turn up her friends, she begins searching harder, seeming very nonplussed at pulling back dead bushes and checking snow banks as if this were an everyday occurrence. It is.

Please pay no mind to the girl in her skirt and boots out in the cold with no coat, looking in the snow. Nothing to see. Honestly.]

Skadi. Where are you? Koro-chan? Gabriel, I have a blanket for you.

[Well Yukiko is out by the Habitat, of course, she's just bringing a few of her Pokemon in out of the snow. Nevermind that the Cubchoo in her arms is definitely an ice type, and that she's radiating heat to keep the little Helioptile sitting on her shoulder warm.]

Is something the matter, Mitsuru?

[She looks at her friend's face and quickly takes in the sitaution. She's half-tempted to rescue the Cubchoo in her arms, but it doesn't seem distressed in the least, despite the heat her friend is radiating.]

Skadi, Koromaru and Gabriel were out here while I went into the Habitat to check on anything that I might have missed with Gabriel's raising. And now they're all gone.

[And doesn't she sound pleased to say that.]

[Don't do that! Teddie thinks he's scoring somehow. He wiggles happily and looks at the other before extending his arms. Do you wanna hug the Teddie?]

Oh! It...looks like Teddie wants to say hello. If you want to.

[So innocent, Yuki-chan! Letting the bear pursue his dreams...]

And...what? What do you mean gone? You didn't have them attuned to your Warp Band to call back?

[She looks down at the excited Cubchoo and holds her arms out for it. He's kind of adorable and Mitsuru likes cute things as well.]

I wasn't aware that you had one yet. Hello, Teddie.

[He's not calling her Mitsy-chan, so....]

They're not responding to it. I think Skadi is leading them through one of their "games".

Really? I've had Teddie a while.

[He nuzzles up to her happily, and his frozen snot thankfully doesn't stain. He won't call her Mitsy-chan yet, though, but he seems fond of...well...her chest.

I don't remember you bringing him with us when we went after Koromaru. [The Cubchoo's snot is only on her bow, so it's not a big deal. And, her chest is rather...ample, so it's not that big of a surprise.]

Skadi has taken to teasing both Koromaru and Gabriel until they chase after her. And then she leads them in a merry run until they pounce her or she grows tired.

Well, he and Lillith have difficulty getting along. I don't take him everywhere. You've also probably never met Ares, Bereth, or Pavarti. It's just not really feasible to take everyone all the time.

[You sure about that, Mitsy-chan? He's...definitely nuzzling and looking like a bear in heaven. Ample bosoms are the best! Much better than Yuki-chan's.]

And that...sounds like quite the game. If you're worried, we can go look?

No, I suppose with that many Pokémon it would be impossible to take them with you all the time. [Not that Mitsuru would know much about that, what with only three of her own.

He's fine. She's not even really paying much attention to him, outside of the fact that he is a fellow ice type.]

It's annoying, honestly. The last time she played it was at a formal function.

[Yukiko reaches over then, to pat the bear.]

Well where do you think she would have taken them?

[Mitsuru thinks over what she knows of her troublesome Snorunt and sighs.]

The mountains, more than likely. Somewhere she'd have an advantage over the both of them.

Savior...

[Yukiko groans.]

Then we'd best get on Lilith and get moving.

[She agrees with her friend wholeheartedly. This all extremely troublesome and she's not please one bit. Skadi is in trouble the likes of which the little Pokémon has never seen before.]

Do you think they've gotten far? It hasn't been that long and Gabriel is fairly slow.

Who can say? It could very well be...actually...I have an idea

[She taps her band, and calls up Cassandra. The Absol appears, patiently waiting for instructions.]

Cassandra, find Koromaru.

[And with a nod, the black and white critter is off!]

Let's just follow Cass, okay?

[She is a little jealous. Why can't her Pokémon be as well behaved as Yukiko's? Of course, out of the three, Koromaru would have appeared by now, if he was able.

That has her worried.

But, calling Cassandra the Absol is a great idea. She was there when they found Koromaru after all.]

That sounds like a good plan. I believe I will be putting a collar on Skadi when we find them.

[Because you can collar Ghost types, right?]

Oh, I will definitely help with that.

[She hops easily up into Lilith's saddle, and the fiery horse lowers her flames a bit so that Mitsuru can board. don't be jealous, though, she has some real problem Pokemon. Just not...these few.

You missed Bulbabutt.]

Hop on, and we'll get moving.

[She did miss the Bulbabutt incident. Her friend should tell her all about it.]

She was so well behaved when we went to bond with Koromaru and Gabriel that I think I took it for granted. It won't happen again.

[She carefully climbs on the Pokémon's back behind her friend, feeling a little uncomfortable behind her friend, but not outrageously so. She's sat through worse at dinner parties with her mother.]

Well, hasn't she evolved since then?

[Yukiko nudges her friend forward with a stroke of her neck and off they go, quickly exiting the Habitat and heading south.]

And it's no problem. These things happen.

[Tell her! Seriously!]

I just acquired the Dawn Stone last week. I gave it to her two days ago. I was surprised she didn't use it then, but she's been stubborn about...

[Mitsuru huffs under breath.]

[Off they go, charging out the gate, and heading towards the Forest...?]

So it would seem.
