A Senshi Social
Who: Usagi Tsukino, Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Minako Aino, Makoto Kino, Chibiusa, Haruka Tenoh, and Michiru Kaioh
Where Ami's home
What: Thesenshi girls are all meeting up to recount the details of what happened. Or that's the plan, in any case.
When: A few days after "A safe return"
Warnings: Senshi antics?
The plan was to meet at Ami's home to discuss the current situation with the Enhanced, Team Evolution, and Gigas in general. As it was Ami's home, it only made sense that she be the first first there and set up the area in the condo-apartment for the meeting they were going to have. She had notebook after notebook filled for the discussion they were going to have as well as copies of the dossiers of the Enhanced. Some snacks and drinks were setup in case the meeting ran long, which considering who all would be involved, she knew it would.
Her Lapras, Madame Curie, loomed over her and Aurora, both of them refusing to leave her side since Ami was still bruised and covered then a fair number of scrapes from the encounter she had with Sierra. She took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes as she made some minor changes to her notes. All of her pokemon were in the condo, although Socrates was getting a bit too big to be kept in the apartment building for much longer though he coiled up when and where he could.
She looked up when there was a knock at her door. Aurora begrudgingly got off her lap so she could answer it.
"Ah you made it," she said. "You were able to get away?" Ami knew that they all had to get back to their lives after cleaning up Team Evolution's mess. Her own work wasn't done once they got Sierra back to Union; there were people injured and in need of healing, pokemon that needed help because of displacement, and so much more on her plate. The young medic was running on black coffee and 24-hour days. The only reason she was even home now was because Yuuna physically removed her from the building with the express orders of "sleep, eat, and spend time with friends the rest of the week or else" and Ami wasn't about to ignore the orders of the ranger and senior medic.
She gazed out as more of the girls seemed to be headed towards her direction.

Not to mention how sick it makes her to think of what Gigas has done to achieve that kind of power. "Humanity's dooming itself," she concludes. "Did you neutralize her?"
She looks really intent on hearing this group's ingenious plan. They must have pulled off quite the clever stunt to walk away from someone like that intact - and, what's more, to have gotten Sakina back under control.

Haruka didn't hear that right. She couldn't have. She's pretty sure Makoto just said that they...competed....with Sakina instead of fighting her, and somehow that fixed everything.
No, wait, she did hear that right. So she laughs and reaches for a sandwich. "You girls really are something."

Makoto unconsciously rubs her biceps of an imaginary ache. "It worked. It was like one of your workouts, but times a hundred."

This is important enough that she lets that jibe slide. But she heard it, Makoto. Does this mean she's going too easy on you?

No, it just means that Makoto will not be bitching quite so much the next time you want to train her. She knows a hard task mistress when she sees it, and it can always be worse.
meanwhile she's talking to lucas without knowing who he is at the luvdisc booth
"And the gods did nothing," she concludes: it was all you guys, so hey, that's half a compliment. She's not sure what to make of that fact, though, so she doesn't try to interpret it. The gods don't care? They're biding their time? They're just as fallible as the rest of the planet? She nods. "Not bad."
Wooper chooses this moment to steal a snack from the table, disappearing underneath it with a mighty woop. That's pretty much all this contingent has to say on the matter.
That's kinda beautiful
"We did what we could. Minako-chan and I tried to keep up with her as best we could. It was kinda fun, except for the whole "watch the new girl with anger issues so she doesn't kill us" part."
She watches the Wooper as he steals the food and laughs as Cotton chases after the thief with an angry MAREEP!
once again, her pokemon have made friends before she does...
Haruka closes her eyes. She's apparently satisfied with the way things went down for Makoto and Minako, but....how long is it going to take Wooper to notice she's not happy?

"We didn't hear much either," Haruka admits, looking up at the ceiling. Her encounter with Gino barely qualified as an event, really. It had been more of a joke. Compared to what Makoto and Minako had faced...
The least she can do is this single word, she supposes. And a smile. "Thanks."

"Well, that makes me feel a little better. I just hope we don't have to repeat that any time soon."

Haruka shares Makoto's hopes, but would rather focus on worst-case scenarios to better be prepared. For a moment, though, it's nice to just acknowledge the point and relax. And stretch her legs out. And remember the food.
"You made these?" she asks, leaning forward again to help herself to some of the food. They're done talking Enhanced far as she's concerned. She learned what she wanted to know.

"Yes, I...I know this was supposed to be a serious meeting, but with everyone here... I thought why not? Especially since Usagi-chan was supposed to show up too." Hi, yes, Makoto is babbling. Please make her stop.

Wooper, having had enough of adventures for now, settles down to people- and Poké-watch on the edge of the couch. Hopefully nobody will trip over him here....this apartment's pretty full!

She probably shouldn't mull this over with the girl in the room, while on the couch with one of her best friends, huh. Haruka clears her throat. "What are you going to do when the gods return?" she asks, not really looking at Makoto. This is probably the most important information to gather about her new allies. Everything will proceed from there.

"I haven't put much thought into it. At first, I was just trying to get through the days to get some sort of balance back after my big weird trip in the forest. Now..." She frowns down at the cup of juice in her hand. "I'll do what I have to do, like always. If that means fighting back to save others, then I guess that's what I'll do."
