[Capsule 01] || Video+Action (dual-intro)

[The video feed comes on after a moment of fiddling, revealing the gentle smile of a young man. He seems to be just outside of Union, if the sight of the large tree behind him is any indication.]

There we go. It looks like I've gotten patched into the video network properly now. I--

[Am suddenly getting jostled as the warp band is snatched in a flurry of black and red color. The view jerks around, a surprised noise coming from the man before he gives a bit of a sighed laugh, like one might for an unruly child.]

Very funny, Axl.

[There's a snicker somewhere closer to the band, sort of high-pitched and young sounding.]

Give it back.

[The noise that comes is very clearly a nope! of some kind, and the man immediately starts off after whatever's holding the warp band.]


[Action]
[For those who are out and about -- either just outside of Union or inside of the city -- they might end up introduced to this young man when they see a Zorua go sprinting by... and X slams full force into them while trying to catch him.]


[Video]
[It's about an hour or so later that the chase finally ends and X manages to reclaim his band. The chase has taken him right back into the city, and he looks a mix of amused and mildly miffed about it, drawing a hand through his hair.]

-- I am X Light. It's a pleasure to meet all of you. This is my first time properly out of Union, and I was wondering if any of you had any advice for me?

[Fai is still laughing a bit at the Warp Band theft - Savior knows that Woolly does that to him a lot - but after all, that's a very important question! Fai starts ticking things off on his hand.]

Let's see... don't go adventuring in a cloak that drags after you on the ground, no matter how pretty it is. Make sure to keep an eye on your pokémon friends if they're likely do do things like forget they can fly and then attempt to outrun wild pokémon that aren't so forgetful. If you walk into a creepy ruin and get attacked by a whole swarm of very angry pokémon, running away is preferable to trying to argue with them. Oh, and never attempt to kiss someone for the first time if there is any chance at all of being attacked by wild pokémon, it ki~ind of sucks.

[He grins.] Helpful at all?

[X is really more upset at himself for not expecting it than anything else. He takes note of those suggestions, but the last one makes him double-take a little bit.]

Uh... yes, thank you.

[X's reaction gets a bit of a laugh.]

What I mean is, everyone makes mistakes in the beginning, and they're probably going to be mistakes that are kind of hard to think of beforehand. The important thing is being good at im~pro~vis~ing!

[He coughs, just pulling at his collar a little bit.]

Good to know. I'll, uh. Keep that in mind.

[Awww, he embarrassed the poor guy!

...Let's make it a bit worse.]

And don't worry about the whole kiss thing, it just ended up with me being kissed by a pokémon instead. [And his boyfriend almost fire-slapping said pokémon off a cliff, but shhh.]

[It's not quite as worse as hoped, most likely, but it still keeps that blush going.]
