Action - Canyon Trip! [Closed to Sora, Lea, and Riku]

[ After Roxas' trip to the Lake Shrine with Blue he took the time to consider the offer that Sora gave him a few weeks prior. That when he was ready to go to the Canyon Sora would come along with him. Earlier this week while Sora was visiting him Roxas had made that decision.

So that is what the two are doing today.

Before Roxas left his room he quickly wrote down a note in case Lea came or some unexpected visitor. Since, to him, neither of them seemed very likely that day this was all the note said:

Going cliff climbing with Sora

The fact it says a name doesn't help when your Sylveon is named Sora as well.

But that aside Roxas is looking around at the base of the Canyon. So far he doesn't see how Sora really likes this place but maybe it's because they're not at the top yet, right?? He did say something about the wind and the view. ]

Yeah, unique! [Yes, yes it really is] It's one of a kind!

I ... guess. I don't know anyone else with it.

[ And in general who else has a name that is an acronym of their brother's. ]

There isn't! Because...our parents made it up.

[heartstorage]

[he perks up a little! Is Roxas remembering something?!]

Y-Yeah! That's right! They said they weren't expecting twins.

[meguriau]

[ It could be?!?! but of course it's about his and Sora's names. ]

That explains it. You're older by how much?

[heartstorage]

[Hey he'll take what he can get!]

How much?

Uh...

[crap he was hoping you'd keep thinking it was by a big gap of time]

A minute.

[meguriau]

[ Nope no more thinking that. ]

Only a minute? That's not very long.

[heartstorage]

I-it's long enough! I'm still older!

[meguriau]

Barely. Does it even count.

[heartstorage]

Of course it counts! You'll understand when you're older!

[Like...a minute older]

[meguriau]

[ Wow such a counter Sora ]

If you say so.

[ not. ]

[heartstorage]

Sure do!

[ITS THE BEST COUNTER. Part of the path breaks off now, leaving a gap that leads down the cliff below. Sora jumps over it with ease, before looking back at the gap. If someone's moderately good at jumping, they could make it. But still...]

Maybe you should teleport over this one.

[meguriau]

[ Roxas stops at the edge and looks at the gap. Yeah that is... not something he's going to be able to jump. So hearing Sora's suggestion he simply nods his head before teleporting over to the other side. ]

[heartstorage]

[he smiles a little as he sees Roxas teleports over. Having a brother that can do that sure makes it easier not to worry. ]

[He meanwhile stands back and waits to see if Simba can make the jump or if he'll have to summon him with the warpband, going back to talking]

As I was saying, they weren't expecting two of us so they had only picked out one name. But instead of coming up with another name, they scrambled Sora up to make your name.

Couldn't really tell you why they did that, though. [Truth be told, there's a lot of things his parents did he didn't get]

[ Roxas stands back and does the same for Sora the Sylveon as he listens to Sora. ]

Dunno. Maybe it was easiest for them.

[ Though it just makes their parents sound kind of strange?? Like who anagrams their child's name for another child. ]

[heartstorage]

Yeah...maybe.

[Trust me Roxas, they most likely were very strange. Just accept it. But Simba seems to give the gap a look before he backs up and makes a run for it. Fortunately with his size, it doesn't take too much to cross over. Sora smiles at him]

Good job Simba!

[meguriau]

[ Sora the Sylveon on the other hand was more than a foot smaller than Simba. He paces back and forth on the other side for a bit before sitting down frustrated. ]

Ah... [ Roxas summons him over with the warpband. Once he's over it's clear that he's upset. Why couldn't he jump over like Simba. ]

S-Sora. It's okay.

[heartstorage]

[He looks over at the other Sora. Oh he didn't know...that guy was capable of any emotion but happiness and friendliness]

Hey, it's okay. Simba's just done this jump a lot of times, that's all!

[meguriau]

[ It's quite rare. But Sora isn't upset about it for long. He flicks his feelers a little. Weellll... okay. Maybe he'll be able to jump it next time, right! ]

Maybe you'll be able to jump the next one.

[ That too. ]

[heartstorage]

Yeah, exactly! Just keep working at it!

[meguriau]

[ Well then what are they waiting for! Sora trots ahead a little. Let's go! Let's go!

Roxas just smiles at his Sylveon and waits for Sora to move and take the lead. ]

[heartstorage]

[he laughs a little at the Sylveon's sudden enthusiasm. He is sure easy to cheer up]

Okay, okay- we're going.

[He starts walking again up the path. ]

[meguriau]

[ Well it can't stay disappointed for long with those words to think on! He flicks his ears happily and allows both Sora and Roxas to go in front of him before going back to his spot behind Roxas and trotting after them. ]

[heartstorage]

[Yes good other Sora be happy! And Sora keeps walking for awhile quietly. It's not an awkward quiet, so much as he just doesn't have anymore conversations to have for now. As they go the path gets increasingly steeper and messed up. Gaps, ledges to climb. But eventually, it looks like they are near the top!]

Okay, we just have to climb a little bit more and we'll be there!
