Some time during her second trip, a pidove picks up a hint of the tune she's been humming, and by the time Morigana returns on her third loop of the route, he flutters on after her, joining in. ..A tad off key, but that's Wunjo for you. But it's such a PRETTY tune, who wouldn't be interested in singing it!
no subject
But hey, it WAS a pretty song. She shrugged and went on about her business. She also started humming again.

The chorus hasn't gone unnoticed, however. He's loud enough, however, that his human shows up, a notebook in hand and wearing puzzled expression. That sound..
"I'm sorry, miss, is he bothering you?"
no subject
"Not at all. I don't think my singing is good enough that he's ruining it just by joining in."
Her voice was actually quite pleasant, but it's hard to judge such things for yourself.
no subject
"He gets very enthusiastic, so he must have liked your song, miss. And there hasn't been much music lately.." For obvious reasons. Sophia presses on, before a pause makes that comment awkward. "I couldn't hear it very clearly over him, but, what are you singing?"
no subject
She tensed, she was never sure how people would take knowing where she had grown up.
"...Gigas."
no subject
Wunjo doesn't appear to understand the significance, fussing at their feet instead.
"I see," that puzzled tone remains, brow furrowing further. "It's hard to imagine such a place having music of its own, isn't it. But it sounds...very upbeat."
no subject
She grimaced as she spoke. It felt weird to defend Gigas.
no subject
The Elite Four were certainly happy to do that on a grander scale. But she doesn't care to think about them right now. "Music, though. That always seems to be a language everyone can understand."

..Nostalgic?
She's not sure why that thought sends a shiver down her spine. So she ignores it, for now. "It seems very upbeat. What was it about? I'm afraid Wunjo here was drowning out anything besides the melody."

She shrugged. She was curious why Sophia was so interested in the song, though. "Do you sing a lot? Or play any instruments?"
no subject
As for the questions directed at her: "..Not that I can remember," Sophia admits offhandedly, not quite paying the close attention she should be to her answers. Mind replaying the melody at the correct pitch compared to Wunjo's rendition. "Perhaps I should try, when things are less..busy. Do you? Play, that is?"
no subject
Before any more apologies could escape her lips, though, that middle bit sunk in.
"What do you mean 'not that I can remember'?"
no subject
But the fault is hers, and while she is no longer comfortable sharing her story with everyone she meets anymore, she can at least be partially truthful. "..I had an accident, prior to Salvation."
no subject
That's awful!
no subject
She almost starts offering her hand to shake - but Morgiana does still bear a burden on her shoulders, so she switches quickly to a very slight bow forwards. "I'm Sophia. Sophia Nate."
no subject
"Morgiana. I too have found a new home in Union."
no subject
no subject
At least that's what she was assuming.

She nodded in understanding. Now that she thought about it there had to be some people who stayed behind and made sure HQ was working while everyone else was out who knows where.
no subject
The damage was minor, compared to a large chunk of the city, but there was still plenty of work to do to set things to rights.
no subject
She nodded/bowed again to Sophia. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Nate. I hope your memory comes back eventually."
no subject
"I do as well, thank you." She returns the bow. "And no doubt we'll meet again sooner than later."
Wunjo whistles a thank you, before resuming his repetition of Morgiana's song. He's going to keep singing that until some other tune gets his attention, just you wait.
Chie Satonaka and Sinbad
That didn't bother Morgiana one bit today. She practically floated into the kitchen, with a sort of glow about her and her hair still damp from the shower. She was going to see if she could manage to cook some breakfast without breaking anything. Normally she would have hesitated, but today she felt like nothing could go wrong!
However, just as she was getting some of their last (and...honestly probably reaching the end of it's existence as edible food. It was looking maybe a little green, but not so much that you couldn't eat it after a thorough cooking) two pieces of bacon, there was a knock at the door...
no subject
He couldn't help but hum softly, feeling a twinge of the bubbling good mood emanating from inside.
no subject
"Sin! Good morning! Come in come in! I was just cooking breakfast."
And she's barely started, so if Sinbad wanted to eat something other than charcoal he still had time to intervene.
no subject
"Thanks Morg, just don't mind me." He murmurs a bit as he gingerly makes his way inside, careful not to bump into anything - he was still getting used to the shift in his weight distribution with the cast. "Looks like you're not too badly hurt, how's Chie?" He questioned, as he can't help but feel another undercurrent of emotion that is familiar but not.
no subject
The smile slips very slightly. "She was...shaken, I guess, by the attack. But we talked about it and talked about some other things and I am confident she will be back to normal soon enough."
whoops, forgot this until now
"Hey, Morgiana, what's for-"
And then she sees Sinbad sitting there, and reflexively blushes.
"...Oh! Hey, Sinbad! I didn't know you were here!"
Re: whoops, forgot this until now
"Well," his cheeks turned a faint shade of pink despite himself as he tries to clamp down and tune that feeling out once he pinpointed what it was. "I'd thought I'd stop by... see how everyone was doing."
no subject
Morgiana turned on the stove top and got out some eggs as well. "Did you want to stay for breakfast?"
DO you, Sinbad? The atmosphere here is just one step away from birds spontaneously landing on the windowsill to sing along with a choreographed song about how lovely a new day is.
no subject
Chie's obviously feeling a little awkward, but she can't help but smile all the same. She'd been in a pretty terrible mood the night before, but this morning's shower was a rather pleasant turn of events.
