[Estelle Bright made an important decision: she wants to learn to race Pokemon. Ah, but she doesn't know how to do that, really. Should that matter, though? Most things in life can be learned with a little elbow grease, a little determination, and jumping right in! She decided this was true of racing.]

[Nevermind that she has been in this situation before. She will master this situation!]

[And thus she's on the back of Karna, her new Skiddo, as it charges down the streets of Union! It bolts down a busy one, a hairpin turn executed, and she grabs for dear life. She's not steering as much as just holding on, and occasionally yanking it in a direction with its horns.]

Look out, look out--sorry! Coming through!

[And she's loving it.]

I'm trying to teach Karna to race. But she keeps just, um, hitting things with her head.

You ever known anyone who just repeatedly runs into the same things over and over, Lucca? I dunno where she gets it from.

[She watches Karna try to headbutt again, then fall over on her butt, and... whine about.]

[And with that, Hooly will just...envelope Karna in a hug. He's...very huggable so cheer up!.]

No...you're just an earthquake. Now, Karna seems more like an eruption.

An earthquake? Can I be a little more like a... wait, I don't want to be like a natural disaster.

[Karna doesn't mind hugs. She sighs, but accepts it! And rouses a little.]

She's definitely an eruption, though. I just gotta, um. I'm not sure what metaphor works for training an eruption.

[Lucca can't help but laugh. This is funny, and just how defensive she is...wow, it's like she's never knocked over experimental crystal matrices...]

Well, how about dodging the lava-flow? You're not training it so much as going where it takes you, anyway. Or...doesn't take you.

Hrn, I guess you're right. Maybe I need to have a firmer hand... and find some kind of reward so he does what I want!

[Estelle walks over and grabs Karna's collar, giving her a good yank. Time to free the Skiddo of the goopy hug!]

[Oh! Well then...Hooly lets up on his goopy grip...]

[And with a good tug, there is now one (1) freed Skiddo. Maybe slightly goopy now.]
