[The camera wobbles a bit as an excited looking woman in her mid twenties fiddles with some settings before she finally seems somewhat satisfied. It's a little off center, but it's definitely got her face framed...mostly. There's clearly a Magnemite hovering over her left shoulder, too, it's single eye looking down at the device with obvious interest.]

Oh, good, it works.

[The woman coughs once, clearing her throat.]

Hello Union! My name's Yuuna and hehe...I just got the video function working the other day. At least, I think I did? Tell me if the picture's fuzzy or anything.

[She pauses, looking at something off screen and making a flailing motion with her arm and mouthing something inaudible. A moment later and there's a rustling sound, followed by the clink of metal.]

Anyway. Um, introductions. Yes. You can call me Yuuna, and this is Zedd. [She points up to the Magnemite.] And...I guess at the moment we're kinda freelancing. [Meaning: Unemployed.] I've been getting out and exploring a bit the last little while, but never particularly far. Didn't want to stretch my friend's limits, or mine, y'know? But I think today may be the day I start heading out a little further, so I made sure I got this thing working in case something happens. So...heh...if my next broadcast is screaming and shouting send help?

Are there any places you'd say to avoid? Or places there are some really cool pokemon to see? Or hey, if there's anyone not too far off that wants to go poke around some new places with me, I'm totally down. Just give me a buzz, okay?

[And then the video ends.]

[Yuuna's response is to stick out her tongue and grin.]

Well, you don't have to be jealous, sweetie. You stop by the school and you can train too. But...definitely we can figure a way to do some training. My poliwag could also use a new partner so I'm sure we can arrange something.

[ The tongue gets a small scoff of a laugh from Blue, who continues to look on brightly at the warp band. ]

Well, if you end up in the mountains any time in the next few days we might bump into each other. I'm getting materials on a job right now, but I could drop by this school when I'm done. Or you could always contact me when you're available? My schedule's a little wobbly, but I'll usually stay around the Union for a day or two if I can help it before heading off.

Y'know, I think I will end up there. Sounds like it's the kind of place my friends would enjoy, and with all those rock-types there I'm not really worried about wild pokemon. So, give it a few days and we'll see what happens, yeah?

As for the schedule...honestly I don't even know where I'll be tomorrow, let alone anything set. Like I said, freelance.

Sounds fine to me! I'm in one place or another anyway, so it's better to just give me a buzz on the warp band and try it like that. Don't worry if you don't know how to by the way, it should be easy to send me a message now that I've connected to your warp band.

[ It's like instantly adding somebody to your contact list. ]

[Well it's been a few days since Yuuna left Union and struck out into the wilds on her own, and as she'd ultimately intended she'd spent most of the time in the mountains, exactly where she'd been warned not to go. That had led to some pretty good discoveries, and a fateful practice battle with Goku's Machop.

So, consequently, Yuuna is now poking around the mountains with a slightly different lineup when she catches the crunch of feet in the rocky soil. Turning quickly, with all four of her pokemon doing the same, her hand strays near her sword, ready to draw. Gouken's fists go up and Kyo sets himself into a fighting crouch, while Uzushio and Zedd move to the human's flanks in a defensive posture. Clearly they've practiced this.

Yuuna's voice calls out in case it's another human coming their way, but it's serious, tinged with steel. She's taking no chances, at all.]

Hello? Who's there?

[ The crunching sound was there, but it's stopped at the sound of the woman's voice, silent for a second before there's a gruff noise, akin to a rough bark, but without any hostility put into it and much softer. To the pokémon it's a voice, a simple non-threatening comment that they're not going to attack. Then after there, with a few more lighter steps comes a young woman's voice. ]

Hello! It's fine, it's safe!

[ She can't be seen due to the stone wall blocking her, and she doesn't moved into view just in case. ]

Is it fine if we come forward?

[At the sound of a human voice, Yuuna lowers her hand and Gouken's fists take a more relaxed stance. The fact that she remembers the voice helps a lot, too. So, there may be an audible sound of tension leaving her breath.]

Yes, it's alright, Blue.

[She had half expected to run into the younger woman, at least.]

It's Yuuna, from the other day.

[ -- ah, the woman with the tyrogue! There's a small 'oh!' before Blue makes her appearance, walking carefully forward, and not alone.

Actually, her steps aren't all that audible next to her nidoking's, who walks with the same speed at her side; he may have an intimidating appearance for some, but he doesn't assert his presence at all like other of his kind might do upon meeting others.

Blue wears a smile on her face ready to greet Yuuna and her company with. She's dressed up warmly and with her hair back in a tight bun, body dirtied in spots but looking fine otherwise. ]

Hi, you got out here quick. Did you just get here today?

[Well, Yuuna doesn't seem intimidated either, and neither does her newly evolved Hitmonchan. Though...there's a young Larvitar now hanging around Yuuna's leg, peeking out at Blue. Clearly a new addition, or one that's super nervous around new things. The woman herself is in a stained hiking outfit, warm but light, with a pack on. There's smudges of dirt on her cheeks, and her short hair is a little rumbled, but she smiles warmly all the same.

Clearly, she's been out here a few days, and she seems none the worse for wear. At least not externally.]

Well, actually I've been here a few now. I ended up spending a couple of days closer to Union and then decided to move on.

You didn't waste any time, did you.

[ She laughs, but while she might usually take a step forward, the shy company with Yuuna hasn't missed her. She looks to him with a warm smile, then motions a hand to the company with her. ]

This is Helio. I've got a houndoom who might sneak up later, but she's harmless. [ Blue then nods to the hitmonchan. ]

And you - you're the same tyrogue I saw before? I can tell by that confident look in your eye. You must've found something good out here. Congratulations.

[Gouken nods, flashing an almost human smile of pride and understanding. He sure had. Yuuna, on the other other hand reaches down and picks up the little larvitar, holding it to her and stepping closer. She's not bothered, and there's no reason to be afraid of the other girl. They're on the same side, after all.]

Well, he evolved after a fight with Goku's Machop. We decided to give them a training run and then boom. There he goes. [Her hand reaches out and pats him on the shoulder, and he nods confidently at her.]

Though I thought it'd take longer for him to change like that. Guess he's just trained extra hard.

I think evolution is like something clicking, sometimes. It comes turns on in different ways for everybody. [ She grins. ] But a good spar always helps.

[ Blue hadn't moved any closer before because of the shy-seeming larvitar now in Yuuna's arms, but with them there, she does move a couple of steps towards the group. ]

It looks like you made a new friend too. [ She puts back on that soft smile for the pokémon, and places a hand against her chest. ] My name is Blue. It's nice to meet you.

[Well, Larvitar begins to squirm a bit and Yuuna eventually just lets him down and he waddles over to look up at Blue, wiggling his little tail.]

Laaaaar [He sort of coos and extends a hand up to her for a shake.]

I did. This is Kyojira. Or just Kyo. I found him down in the foothills, like you'd mentioned. He seemed lost, and tried to hide...and it was just the cutest little thing, so I couldn't not take him with me. He's such a sweetie, too...but he's a little shy at first.

[ Oh, such a cutie. She bends down to meet him even before he brings up that hand, but once it's out, she takes it for a simple shake. ]

I'm not surprised; it's very hard not to be shy on first meetings, isn't it? Meeting new people is always scary. But I'm very happy to meet you, Kyo.

[ She looks at Helio over her shoulder, tilting her head. ]

You'll say hello too, won't you?

[ He does, looking from his trainer to the larvitar. It's a simple greeting, like a grunt, but kind enough. Friendly, but never one for words all that often. ]

[Kyo seems pretty pleased with that, wagging his little tail and waving towards the bigger pokemon.]

Yes, I think you're right. But then, some aren't shy at all.

[She points to her very own personal moon, the Magnemite.]

This one just started circling me one day while I was in the Old City. It's kinda weird, but I guess...maybe it means I have a magnetic personality?

[Cue a giggle at her own joke.]

[ She laughs lightly as well. ]

Or maybe they find you attractive - their complete opposite? [ She gives a fun smile at her own add to the joke and a tiny giggle, then lifts herself back standing up. ]

Have you heard about the magnet cave? Your magnemite might like it in there. It's just what it sounds like.

Maybe so. I mean, this one seems to like me, anyway.

[Yuuna chuckles softly at the flirty younger girl, and shakes her head.]

I haven't, but is it full of lodestones? Like, natural magnets and stuff?

[ She hums with a nod. ]

There's plenty of materials in there. They use them to make the thunder stones for evolutions too, so if you ever need one made, it's good to cut down on the cost by grabbing what you need yourself.

And, [ getting onto part of what made her bring this up ] It's helped certain pokémon evolve. My own magneton evolved after a trip there, and I've heard it's help do the same for others too.

[Yuuna isn't sure exactly what a thunder stone is, let alone having any idea that she'll never need one, but she nods, committing that little detail to her memory.]

Oh? I...didn't know Magneton could evolve at all. Um...what form does it take?

[ She can understand that. It was a recent discovery, after all. Blue lifts up her warp band, fiddling with it. ]

I'll show you. Luckily I have Bolts with me.

[ By the power of technology, that is. The small tongs of the warp band move out, and within a few seconds a sizeable, spherical metallic pokémon shows up, the large magnets on it turning. ]

Meet Bolts. [ She looks to them, smiling, as the pokémon makes a sound much like one might expect from it. But it's friendly, much more openly so than Helio, moving forward to greet the others with some curiosity. ]

We've been together for a long time. They wandered up into Verdant Forest from the Old City years ago.

[Well that is not what she'd expected at all. It looks like some sort of alien technology, more machine than alive, even moreso than Zedd. Yuuna takes a step closer, and Zedd drifts with her. Quirking her head to one side, she smiles, reaching out to hold a hand near it, feeling for electricity or something like that.]

Hello there, Bolts.

[And to Blue.]

Stars, it's huge. Big enough to ride on, even. [This is giving her ideas...]

And you say it evolved in the Magnet Cave?

[ There's a magnetism coming off of its body, though Zedd might want to be careful. Bolts has a magnetic pull to it - something it has under control to a degree, but when your entire being is mangetic... ]

There's an idea. [ Said to the comment about riding on. Hee. ] That's right. It must have something to do with the atmosphere. There's nowhere else like it that we know of.

Something to think about, definitely.

[Because who doesn't want to fly around on a space ship? Either way, Zedd turns so it's magnets are the same charge as Bolts and repels himself. The benefits of also being a magnet.]

And...you know, it could be magnetic energy in the air there? Are there a lot of electric types in it?
